Through the Harvard Global Health Institute, Nzuekoh Nchinda will study diseases that afflict many third world countries with the goal of using the information to work in hospitals in her native Cameroon upon graduation. Nzuekoh Nchinda is a rising junior at Harvard College, majoring in chemistry and working towards a secondary field in Global Health. This summer, she is interning at Dr. Sarah Fortune's tuberculosis laboratory at the Harvard School of Public Health.

The Internship: Mathematics/ Summer Coursework
Amy Beth Prager is spending her summer in the mathematics department of MIT. She is pursuing coursework in applied numerical methods, taking a class known as 18.085, Computational Science and Engineering. The course teaches methods of applied mathematics useful in engineering and science.
