SciSymp23 Symposium Director Application

SCIENTISTA MISSION
The Scientista Foundation is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization that endeavors to empower and advance the careers of young women and underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine (STEMM) disciplines through online content, chapter communities, and conferences. One of our primary efforts is our annual Scientista Symposium which is a three-day conference that includes a career fair, poster session, pitch competition, workshops, career panels and numerous networking events.

ABOUT SciSymp
The Scientista Symposium is an intercollegiate conference for pre-professional women in STEMM that brings together hundreds of women internationally for a weekend. The symposium includes guest talks and panels from women across STEMM industries and disciplines, interactive workshops, a research poster competition, a recruiting fair, and ample networking opportunities.

The 2019 Scientista Symposium took place at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA and was attended by 700+ participants from universities across the country. Over $80,000 of scholarship prizes were awarded.
http://scisymp19.weebly.com/. Previous conferences have been held at Microsoft in NYC and MIT.
