Michelle Joy Wang, contributing writer and copy editor for Scientista. I am a Neurobiology and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies joint concentrator at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. I've always loved science and writing, so I was so excited when I came on campus as a freshman to see that there were so many opportunities to combine those two passions of mine. I love that WISE Words is using writing and online social media to helping to empower women to be leaders in the science community! (Michelle notes that in her picture, she is eating eating macaroons- her favorite pastime!)

Mina Chang

Mina Chang, copy editor for Scientista, holds a B.A. in Government Studies from Harvard College. As former editor-in-chief of the Harvard Asia Pacific Review and senior editor of the Harvard International Review, Mina was excited to join the Scientista team as a copy editor in order to gain greater exposure to the sciences. Moreover, the spirit of Scientista--to encourage young women to recognize their own potential--continually serves as a source of personal inspiration for Mina.

Hannah Schreiber

Hannah Schreiber, copy editor for Scientista. Hannah is an aspiring pre-med who recently completed her post-bac at Tufts University. She has worked in emergency medicine research at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and enjoys reading about the broad accomplishments of WISE Word's diverse writers and subjects. When not studying she enjoys obsessively cooking for her friends, hiking with her dog, and cycling on roads, trails, and in her living room.

Elizabeth Flynn Meaney

Elizabeth Flynn Meaney, copy editor for Scientista. Elizabeth Flynn Meaney is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame and current student in the Hunter College MFA in Creative Writing Program. Her first novel for young adults, Bloodthirsty, was published in 2010 and translated into five languages. While not a Scientista herself, Elizabeth is looking forward to learning more about awesome female scientists and engineers as she reads and edits articles.
